Michael kapfer // director

Michael is an experienced engineer focusing on mechatronic systems including mechanical components, sensor and actuator integration, electrical circuits/schematics, system integration and automation. He has worked in research and development projects for leading German car manufacturers, medical equipment companies and top tier oil and gas companies. Michael holds Bachelor and Master University degrees in the fields of Mechanical, Electrical and Software Engineering.

isaac monteath // director

Isaac is a Software Engineer specialising in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Data Analytics. He has worked on both research and industrial projects in military, medical, mining and civil applications. He thrives on finding elegant solutions to hard problems and especially enjoys the challenges of bridging software with the physical world.


Jacob has a mixed background in both engineering and arts, having studied engineering and music. He specialises in graphics and UI design for engineering applications and is responsible for designing futuristic and user-friendly interfaces.

Kevin Lee // Mechatronics Engineer

Kevin is an experienced mechatronics engineer, with valuable knowledge in software engineering. Kevin obtained a Master of Biomedical Engineering from UNSW in which he designed robotic solutions for in vivo medical use. He has also taken part in multiple competitions where he was required to build autonomous vehicles. Kevin has a proven ability to implement high-precision automation solutions. Driven by the desire to solve challenging problems, Kevin is an invaluable addition to the Nonlinear team.

Christophe Gontran // Electrical Engineer

Christophe brings over ten years of electrical engineering experience to the team, designing efficient, clean, and effective electrical solutions. He enjoys working closely with clients to provide designs that bring value to their application.


Peter is an experienced Software Engineer who has specialised in Object Oriented Architecture and Business Analysis, but is currently moving into game development. He has worked in Australia, Sweden and Taiwan on a wide variety of projects. His strengths are imagination tempered with critical thinking and producing tidy solutions. Peter has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Information Technology.


Anas is a creative software engineer, dedicated to building and optimising the performance of web applications. Leveraging technical and analytical skills to create dynamic, high-speed software, user interfaces, and platforms. Anas designs and creates frameworks that connect clients to their bespoke solutions.
